As the IAM4RE partner leading Work Package 3, UBFON plays a central role in delivering capacity-building activities, including training on Knowledge Valorisation, Intellectual Asset Management, and Standardisation through MOOCs and Train-the-Trainer programmes. With over two decades of experience in standardisation education and strong international engagement, UBFON contributes its deep expertise to support the project’s mission of empowering research organisations and higher education institutions across Europe.
VUVilniaus Universitetas (VU), established in the 16th century, is Lithuania’s oldest and most renowned higher education institution, internationally recognised for its excellence in interdisciplinary research, academic entrepreneurship, and intellectual property management. Within IAM4RE, VU plays a pivotal role across several work packages and leads Task 4.1, ensuring the selection of diverse Public Research Organisations (PROs) and Academic Institutions (AcIs) to pilot key project services. VU contributes its extensive experience from initiatives such as UNITeD – EIT HEI to develop MOOCs, Train-the-Trainer programmes, and policy recommendations, while also ensuring the inclusion of smaller Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs). Through active involvement in mentoring, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability efforts, VU supports IAM4RE’s mission of fostering knowledge valorisation from early academic stages and strengthening the innovation capacities of Europe’s research ecosystem.
