About the IAM4RE Training Suite

The IAM4RE Training Suite is the project’s central capacity-building resource for knowledge valorisation, intellectual asset management and standardisation. Developed under Deliverable D2.2, it translates European policy priorities and methodological principles into a coherent, modular and practice-oriented learning framework. The Training Suite will begin to be released online from 29 January 2026 and will be officially presented during this launch webinar on 05 February 2026 (10:00–11:30 CET), with the first set of modules available at the time of the event.

Structured across twelve expert-led modules and three competency tiers (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced), the Suite supports the development of skills in managing, protecting and valorising diverse intellectual assets, while embedding standardisation within the broader research and innovation process. Its design ensures alignment with the Codes of Practice on Intellectual Assets Management and Standardisation and the ERA Policy Agenda, while offering scalable and reusable content adaptable to different institutional contexts and training formats. During the webinar, the IAM4RE Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), launching in Spring 2026 will also be presented.

Who should attend

This webinar is intended for researchers, research support professionals, technology and knowledge transfer officers (TTOs/KTOs), innovation managers and decision-makers within public research organisations and academic institutions. Where relevant, it is also open to early-stage researchers and students with an interest in knowledge valorisation and standardisation. Participants will benefit from an overview of the Training Suite tailored to different roles, experience levels and institutional contexts.

Expected outcomes

By attending the launch webinar, participants will gain a clear understanding of the Training Suite’s scope, structure and learning pathways, and how it can be used as a practical tool to strengthen skills in intellectual asset management and standardisation. The session will also provide insights into how the Training Suite supports institutional capacity-building, professional development and alignment with ERA objectives.

Please note that registration is free but mandatory to attend the webinar.
